Pau Hana Estate has been owned and farmed by Carol Weaver since 2006. It is 5 acres and contains 3,500 Kona trees. It is located on the slopes of the Mauna Loa volcano at an elevation of 2,400 feet. This coffee comes from a farm previously known as the Woods Estate, distinguished by its relatively high growing altitude and 3 Kona Coffee Cupping Contest trophies. It is no wonder that Pau Hana Estate has won these awards at the Kona Coffee Cupping Contests judged by professionals from Gevalia Kaffee: 1st in 2001, 3rd in 2002 and 2nd in 2006. Carol ensures that the best depth and flavors are maintained with fastidious fertilizing and hand picking.
